    Indonesia eyes nationwide application of Disaster Recovery Index in 2015

    Jakarta, October 30 – Indonesia, one of the world’s most disaster-prone countries, aims to have a standardized national tool that can measure recovery progress in communities affected by natural disasters, by next year. The Disaster Recovery Index was piloted in communities affected by the 2010 Mount Merapi eruption and the lahar floods in 2011.

    NEW PARTNERSHIP ON NEGLECTED DISEASES IN INDONESIA

    On 27 February 2014, Indonesia launched a new initiative to increase access and delivery of health technologies for tuberculosis (TB), malaria and neglected tropical diseases (NTDs).
