Following the Social Good Summit held in New York during the United Nations General Assembly Week, UNDP Indonesia is back for its third Social Good Summit in Jakarta. Featuring inspiring speakers driving development in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, our SGS this year will highlight “Marine Biodiversity Conservation for a Lasting Prosperity for the People”.

The summit will aim to engage youths and other influencers on a thought-provoking topic on how to conserve our marine biodiversity and how the broad public including how youths can contribute.

This year we’ll be having prominent speaker and public figures such as:

  • Luhut Pandjaitan, Coordinating Minister of Maritime Affairs
  • Riyanni Djangkaru, host of the once popular traveling documentary show “Jejak Petualang” and activist for Save Sharks
  • Gemala Hanafiah, renowned professional surfer and environmental activist
  • Pangeran Siahaan & Iman Sjafei, the sensational YouTube artists and the host of Metro TV’s talkshow “Opinion”
  • And many more.

Social Good Summit 2017 will be held on Wednesday 4 October 2017 at Function Hall, 2nd floor Plaza Indonesia from 09.00 a.m. - 16:00 p.m.
