Our sincerest congratulations go to each of the Awardees for this recognition of their tireless efforts to create positive change in their communities. Close to 90 nominations were received across the N-Peace Awards categories this year. A wave of online supporters helped to select the leading women peace activists with a record breaking 70,000 votes received for the nominated candidates. Thousands of supporters also shared the profiles of peace advocates via social media tools. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all nominees for their engagement in the N-Peace Awards campaign, which harnesses the power of storytelling to promote women leaders and peace builders in Asia. Our congratulations goes to all of you involved in the 2013 N-Peace Awards for inspiring so many people with the work you do.
