• Executive Summary: THE 2014 INDONESIA FOREST GOVERNANCE INDEX
    Jun 16, 2015

Strengthening forest governance is no exception. In the 2015-2019 RPJMN, strengthening forest governance will focus on the establishment of forest management units (FMUs), acceleration of boundary delineation, gazettement of the entire forest area and larger forest allocation for local communities. Improved governance is perceived to be one of the enabling conditions for the rehabilitation of degraded land in the forest watershed improvement efforts, the increase in revenue from the forestry sector and for the overall success of combatting climate change.

  • Mobilitas dan Emisi Transportasi Rakyat Miskin di Jakarta
    Apr 16, 2015

  • Lesson Learned in Developing NAMAs/MRV in Greater Jakarta Area (Jabodetabek)
    Apr 16, 2015

The NAMA projects are expected to be in support to the fulfilment of Indonesian non-binding commitment to reduce its emissions 26% lower than Indonesian baseline (BAU) emissions in 2020. In addition to the NAMA development, the LECB program also includes capacity building for the development of MRV for the NAMA project. The mitigation action sectors covered in the LECB program are energy use in transport and industry. The target of the LECB program is to develop at least one NAMA in transport sector and one NAMA in industry sector. The type of NAMA covered in LECB is not predetermined; it can be unilateral or supported NAMAs and it might be project NAMAs or policy NAMAs.

  • Indeks Tata Kelola Hutan, Lahan, dan REDD+ 2012 di Indonesia
    May 6, 2013

  • The other half of climate change
    Jan 1, 2007

It is evident that climate change has affected Indonesia. The evidence of climate change negative impacts has been presented in the recently launched report Indonesia Country Report on Climate Variability and Climate Change. The report, which was prepared by a group of leading Indonesian experts from all relevant sectors and institutions, presents an analytical overview of climate impacts in Indonesia. The results presented in the report are in line with the work from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).
